Guest guest
I thought I would share this with the group. I was mis-diagnosed with diverticulitis. I was hospitalized and given a heavy duty dose of anti-biotics for fear of sepsis.(Flagyl and Cipro). Turned out to be Gastritus. Very poor doctoring IMHO but that's another story. Anyway,I contracted a Thrush/Candida infection as a result of the anti-biotic whammy they gave me. Of course they had a pill for that too, but I was just fed-up with allopathic medicine and refused it. I did a little internet research and came up with this regimen: 1. Organic low-fat yoghurt with lots of live cultures in it. 2. Various " probiotic " cultures from Nature's Way (there are lots of good brands) 3. Garden of Life's Primal Defense with their soil probiotics. 4. ThreeLac's Candida Defense 5. Caprylic acid 6. Colostrum 7. AHCC 8. Beta Glucan 9. 5-6 Grams of C/ day 10.Ate mostly brown rice and oatmeal. 11.N-Acetyl L-Cysteine 12.Liquid all-around multi-vitamin. I don't know if this was over-doing it, but in less than a week the visible signs of the Thrush is gone. I feel good and will keep up this regimen for 30 days and then reduce quantities somewhat. Comments welcome. Harry
