Guest guest
> >My question - I need to gain about 18 lbs to be considered a " normal " body >weight. How did you or your doctor determine the correct body weight? How could either of you do a better calculation than the master chemist in the body. Maintaining the ideal body weight is no insurance, suggestion or guarantee of health. I have seen people killing themselves to gain or loose a few pounds. I ask them, " just where did you read that because you are the right body weight, you are healthy " . You could have other problems, possibly serious, ( I hope not ) that lead to the body weight solution. If so, please tell us about them. The " age old wisdom " of Adelle Davis said, do a 3 or 4 month diet to build health first. So, I guess you have done that already.
