Hi Robert, Leaky gut syndrome is the effect of improper digestion. The physical side to leaky gut is that the intestinal walls of the digestive tract have become porous and toxins which would normally pass through the digestive system and be eliminated, end up in the bloodstream causing toxemia. The consequence of this is a whole range of illnesses from allergies all the way to blood poisoning. This is it in a nutshell. I can expand more on this if you are interested.
