Fw: CDC coverup: Thimerosal (ethylmercury) in vaccines

Sent yours to Teresa and found out she's a researcher on the subject:

CDC coverup: Thimerosal (ethylmercury) in vaccines

A medical professional had asked me: " T- many parents are being told that the

current inoculations being given are

mercury free. What do you know about this? "

There is much authoritative information about ethylmercury (eHg; aka

" thimerosal " ) that remains in some but not all vaccines. Here is a summary of

that information.

SafeMinds was started by coauthors and colleagues of the original eHg/autism

paper (1) and contains some very authoritative information, including published

papers, including the paper that prompted the CDC to study and then to cover-up

thimerosal's adverse effects..

A barebones summary can be found on webpages of National Vaccine Information

A general summary of Flu Vaccines, posted December 10, 2003, on NVIC website

states:

Contraindications for the killed flu vaccine are: fever, an impaired immune

system, egg allergy, mercury allergy or a history of Guillain Barre syndrome. In

the past, pregnancy was a contraindication but now the CDC recommends flu

vaccine for women more than 14 weeks pregnant. However this recommendation is

controversial since most flu vaccines still contain the mercury preservative,

Thimerosal, and mercury has been associated with brain damage and developmental

delays in fetuses whose mothers were exposed to high levels of mercury during

pregnancy.

Contemplate a specific finding by a prominent data analyst:

" Mark Geier, M.D., Ph.D., is president of the Genetic Centers of America. He and

his son, David Geier, president of Medcon Inc., are consultants on vaccine

cases. David Geier tells Insight, " What happened here is Dr. Verstraeten goes to

the Institute of Medicine [iOM] and says that he looked at it in one California

HMO and it was statistical and he saw the effect, and then he did it in another

California HMO and it was statistical and he saw the effect, then he went to

Harvard Pilgrim HMO and he didn't see the effect. The IOM said it's biologically

plausible, but the epidemiology is mixed and therefore we're not sure. "

" In my opinion, " explains Mark Geier, " if they had seen clear

epidemiology they would have recommended the immediate removal of thimerosal and

hundreds of children would have been saved. But Verstraeten went to the one

state in the country where the percentage of autism was the lowest. According to

the U.S. Department of Education the average increase in autism was 400 percent,

and every state in the union had at least a 100 percent increase. But Harvard

Pilgrim had just a 10 percent increase. "

" We went to Atlanta, " he continues, " to the CDC, and looked at the VSD

[Vaccine Safety Data] data. There is thimerosal-containing DTaP [diphtheria,

tetanus and pertussis vaccine] and thimerosal-free DTaP, so we asked a question:

Among children that got a minimum of either three consecutive

thimerosal-containing DTaPs or three consecutive thimerosal-free DTaPs, was

there a difference in the number of autism cases in the two groups? We found

mega differences. More than 20 times higher. The rate of autism in the children

that got more than three doses of thimerosal-containing DTaP vaccines was much,

much higher. Almost all the children that have autism in that group were the

ones that got the thimerosal-containing DTaP vaccine. The more thimerosal the

greater the cases of autism. "

Parents are advised, when in the room with the shot-giver, to ask to look at the

vaccine bottle and its insert and package. Don't just take the doc's or nurse's

spoken-word as gospel. Read the labels. If " thimerosal " is stated, request a

different vaccine.

Autism: a novel form of mercury poisoning.

Bernard S, Enayati A, Redwood L, Roger H, Binstock T.

Autism is a syndrome characterized by impairments in social relatedness and

communication, repetitive behaviors, abnormal movements, and sensory

dysfunction. Recent epidemiological studies suggest that autism may affect 1 in

150 US children. Exposure to mercury can cause immune, sensory, neurological,

motor, and behavioral dysfunctions similar to traits defining or associated with

autism, and the similarities extend to neuroanatomy, neurotransmitters, and

biochemistry. Thimerosal, a preservative added to many vaccines, has become a

major source of mercury in children who, within their first two years, may have

received a quantity of mercury that exceeds safety guidelines. A review of

medical literature and US government data suggests that: (i) many cases of

idiopathic autism are induced by early mercury exposure from thimerosal; (ii)

this type of autism represents an unrecognized mercurial syndrome; and (iii)

genetic and non-genetic factors establish a predisposition whereby thimerosal's

adverse effects occur only in some children. Copyright 2001 Harcourt Publishers
