--------------------------------

Alfred Vogel's life's work was built on his unshakeable belief in a

way of life and of healing based in every respect on nature's

example.

The Bioforce/A.Vogel Group-

Alfred Vogel

1. Nature and the Quality of Life

In order to find true quality of life, live as far as possible in

harmony with the Creator and with nature and be aware of nature's

powers.

The struggle for an equilibrium that takes place in nature should be

everyone's personal aim in life. Helping others to understand and

pursue

this aim is a rewarding task.

2. Preventative Health Care

Preventative health care is the source of health and happiness. The

decision to adopt a well-balanced diet containing natural foodstuffs

and to heed the body's own signals must be taken of one's own free

will.

Health, like illness, does not affect individual organs in

isolation,

but is closely connected with our attitude to life, our living

conditions and lifestyle.

3. It's Up to You

Knowing how nutrition and health are linked makes it easier for us

to

come to the crucial understanding that we ourselves and not the

health authorities are initially responsible for our own well-being.

The physician or therapist is like a mountain guide. He shows us the

way, but he does not carry the patient. He or she must walk on their

own two feet.

We must learn how to maintain our health and take care of ourselves:

" Adopt a largely vegetarian diet of mainly natural whole food

products

with a large amount of raw fruit and vegetables and you will already

have taken a significant step towards long-term health and a

well-balanced disposition. "

4. Balance as a Principle in Life

Try to find, as nature does, a balance between exertion and

relaxation,

activity and rest, between mental and physical activity.

Imbalance and disharmony in any area of our lives are the root of

all illness and suffering.

5. Learning to Show Respect and Sympathy

Learning to live according to nature's principles is much more than

merely a technique. It entails a profound belief and understanding

of nature as a well as a sense of respect and sympathy for nature.

If we wish to oppose violence against man, our environment or

against

animals, then we must learn to respect life as something sacred.

To allow animals, which are a part of creation, to suffer in man's

experiments is cruel and cannot be reconciled with a respectful

attitude towards nature.

6. The Impulse to Heal is a Law of Nature

" It is never too late to support nature's impulse to heal, because

the first law of nature is to preserve life. "

Even after years of illness, many people have managed to recover

their

health, thanks to a radical change in their lifestyle and with the

help of natural medicine.

The aim of natural, holistic medicine is not just to combat the

symptoms of an illness but to get to the root of a disease.

7. The Holistic Approach

" Each plant is complete in itself; it is the result of a formula

based upon intelligence, forethought and wise planning. The precious

value of

an individual plant is jeopardised if its delicately balanced

structure is torn apart. "

Every substance contained in a plant-based is significant and has a

purpose. They complement each other and act as a whole. It is

important

to grow seeds in healthy soil without using pesticides and to

process the plant gently and without using substances that are

poisonous or

environmentally unfriendly. Wherever reasonably possible, fresh

plants should be used.

8. The Power of Love

Let love be our guide in all we strive for. It is the greatest power

in the whole universe.
