Guest guest
yes, isomers may have unknown long term effect, most isomers are harmless, synthetic Q10 however seems to contain less than 1% cis isomer and I guess pure cis was tested Japan and found harmless, so no big problem with Q10. Synthetic Vitamin k1 a molecule closely related to Q10 contains about 20% cis, trans is the natural form, a bigger problem is Vitamin E like DL-Tocopherol, I would not take DL-Tocopherol, 50% isomers is too much, and there is a natural alternative available. Yes I would call racemic mixtures of vitamins drugs unless the percentage of possible long term toxic isomers is quite low, lets say at least lower 25 %.
