You are right, the fever is natural mechanism to burn the harmful toxins,

viruses, etc.

and makes the body stronger. But every disease can also weaken the body,

specially if you

take chemical medicines to stop it in its natural course and do more harm.

Besides, flu

can be very debilitating. Therefore, it is better to get well, naturally.

Sometimes I have the feeling that getting a flu sometimes itself (to get the

disease itself) maybe the best thing for the body to experience...
