Guest guest
Hi Frank The pet industry is regulated now in US for the levels of ingredients and the kibble companies do not comply!!! as they tell owners to feed three times as much to cover their buts to the minimum levels of ingredients (((( If people learn to make their own (which I teach people) A few years ago I woke up to this fact that there was no good kibble out there and even some of the raw foods coming out at the time was not as good as what I could make myself. So I did my research, did testing for a year and came out with my own raw prepared meals for dogs and cats. I use only ingredients I would eat myself in the food. I love to see the great improvements in health the dogs show once they are on real food. I have had some quite spectacular healings with a couple of dog that had sores all over their bellies and the vet had them drugged on cortisone and prednisone both pill and shots and still no improvement. Once on the raw meaty bone diet with no grains. In two weeks one was off his medication and the other was at half dose ))) They have gone though a healing reaction at about 3 months (though I have seen some start as soon as two weeks and one dog waiting till the 6 month mark) when the symptoms got worse as the body pushed out the toxins from inside to outside. It pleases me to no end to see the health of the pets come back and the great joy of the owners when they tell me how their pet is improving )))) Louise Frank [califpacific] Monday, December 08, 2003 3:52 AM alternative_medicine_forum Fwd: The Pet Food Industry and its Questionable Practices Health and Healing , Misty Sun, 07 Dec 2003 01:54:16 +1300 The Pet Food Industry and its Questionable Practices The Pet Food Industry and its Questionable Practices http://www.nexusmagazine.com/PetFood2.html http://www.nexusmagazine.com/ more articles here The pet food industry must be regulated to ensure that foods destined for our pets are safe, contain only ingredients fit for human consumption, and involve no animal experimentation.
