Guest guest
You might want to research some more before trying DMPS via IV. Some have very bad experiences with it. Here's a decent link: http://www.dmpsbackfire.com/default.shtml DMPS has been used very successfully orally. Andy Cutler PhD has researched and successfully devised a proper chelation protocol that minimizes the redistribution experienced when chelators like DMPS and DMSA are not used with frequent consistency oever a sustained period of time. Taking doses once a day encourages intitial chelation but without consistent followup doses to help excrete this mobilized mercury you usually only end up with redistribution, feeling much worse. Andy's site is here: http://www.noamalgam.com He has an affordable book that will really help you understand mercury chelation. The following groups have seen success using his protocol and actively discuss it. Andy posts actively at Autism-Mercury and there are many files there that have important excerpts of his book that you can check out for free... http://health.Autism-Mercury http://health.adult-metal-chelation http://health.frequent-dose-chelation Mike marianne2406 wrote: I would recommend that you go for only organic whey powder if you can get it, otherwise you are just replacing one problem with another. Guest guest
Hi Pamela The dr. told me the original research that was done using whey to cleanse mercury used HMS 90. With the whey powder from the health food stores it is not as well known what is in it, and it has not been studied to know how effective it is in doing this. Of course, he sells the HMS 90 in his office. Guest guest
Hi Rachel! The same with me a couple years ago--though I expect my high levels of mercury & other metals might have been due in part from having all my mercury fillings removed without the proper safeguards. Ignorant dentists all around! My Naturopath tested me for the heavy metals, and the tests cost a whole lot more than the treatment. If I considered this again, I'd just do the chelation. The Naturopath did the chelation by pills, in cycles -- giving me a break of a week in between. I expect this was to permit me to take in minerals I needed, nutritionally, rather than losing it all to chelation too. You wouldn't want to become deficient in iron, for example. It was a simple process. I would never get amalgam fillings again. My teeth look great with the natural appearing composite. I suspect doing chelation might be a good idea for me again, shorter term, to eliminate anything I've absorbed from evironmental exposures--like chemtrails. Guest guest
Hi Steve, And thanks to all who offered insight into this situation. I had my mercury fillings removed last June because of these and many more symptoms - some are better now, and other so much worse. It took about a year to identify it, and then only by accidental conversation with my naturopath. I see a wholistic dentist, and he said the safeguards were not necessary when removing the fillings. This dr. said IV chelation- never mentioned pills. Since researching, I have a lot more questions for him now. He has my medical records, but I think he forgot my kidneys and liver just ain't workin' well, and the IV scares me because I may not be able to elimate it the toxins well. I need to go over all these options with him again. I just put in a call to my naturopath to see his view of things. Over the past year I have tried almost everything out there, and it doesn't even touch it. I know what you mean about the cost - in the past year I spent enough to put a down payment on a house! I intuitively feel chelation to be the right thing.....the research scares me. Logic vs. intuition...the age old battle.... Rachel
Guest guest
I work in a health food store and HMS 90 doesn't ring a bell. Can you tell us what it stands for and the name of the Brand? Guest guest
I have read in more than one place that the herb cilantro will cleanse Mercury from the body. Guest guest
Hello Rachel, I'm glad to see that some are mentioning cilantro to remove mercury. I have some web pages for you with detailed info on this protocol.I would copy and store it as sometimes these protocols don't stay posted forever. http://www.neuraltherapy.com/protocols.asp Be sure to look though the whole site then you can do a search on Klinghardt yourself also. Dr. Klinghardt developed a great protocol for removing mercury from the body. It must be followed exactly. I would not worry so much about the toxins moving around. You've already been slammed and survived. The release will not be as severe as when you were initially exposed. You will also be taking plenty of supplements to capture the mercury while it is in the gut so it won't keep recycling. To leave the mercury in place could be much worse in the long run, especially for the brain and nervous system. Be consistent and persistent in your therapy. Have your kidneys checked periodically. Also go to http://colecenter.com/index.html and look though his " learn about therapies " box. He talks about a 3 minute IV chelation therapy. Oral chelation is a possibility but is slow, requires breaks in therapy but may be good for an aging body in more ways than one.
