Guest guest
I get similar questions by email a number of times year, it's always from people who managed to find my " How to talk to doctors " page, but seemingly have no ability to go the extra step and type in their queries into a search engine. They invariably address me as " Doctor " , and usually have poor written English. I always respond with " I'm not a doctor. You might want to look at the following websites: " etc. Lately though I've just been giving them a link to Google. I don't see a conspiracy or entrapment. If something is being sold from a website, or some other profit motive behind giving advice, I would be worried, because it could be seen as offering medical advice for profit or gain. But if it's just information, there's nothing wrong about that, especially if you have some standard disclaimers on it. Then again I'm in Canada, perhaps I'm just naive about what it's like in the U.S. David E.
