Help - Allergic Fungal Sinusitis

Hello,

 

I am seeking information on alternative treatments for Allergic

Fungal Sinusitis. I have found very limited info on this disease and

none whatsoever for alternative treatments. My daughter has this and

has been very sick. She has already had one surgery to remove the

bulk of this fungus from her sinuses and is now on Prednisone (!!!)

as it is the only treatment that helps SOME patients. She is seeing

a specialist that tells us very little study has been done on this

disease. She (daughter)is a vegetarian and eats a very healthy diet

yet is allergic to most everything(inhalants)and is deadly allergic

to raspberries. For a summary of her lifestyle, she was raised on

our farm, ate mainly organic veggies and fruit grown here. I am very

concerned with the Prednisone as I know the side effects of it and

more concerned with the prospect of another, more dangerous surgery.

PLease, if you know of any alternative or supportive treatments, I

would be most appreciative. I have her on a diet for Candidiasis

even though this is not her disease but since it is a fungus also, I

figured we'd give it a try.
