Guest guest
When I was a child, my grandfather had a large jar, filled with mercury. We used to pour it on the kitchen table and play with it. coating silver dimes and silver dollars with it...pushing little puddles of it around and joining them to make big puddles, and letting gobs of it sift or drip through our fingers. Wonder how much of it is still in my body. Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now

Guest guest
As wierd as this sounds...mercury was a " plaything " for children in the depression and war years. A " novelty " as it were. Coating a silver dollar (real silver ones, like they made then) made them shiny and slippery. And both my dad and my husband repaired TV's in the 50's and 60's, and cleaned tubes with carbon tetrachloride with wild abandon. Arrgh! Anyway, one of the best " herbs " for eliminating mercury and heavy metals from the system is kelp, or seaweed. It can be purchased at oriental groceries as Nori, or sushi wrappers. Also has a bit of iodine for the thyroid system as well, and is chock full of vitamins and minerals. I sprinkle a bit into soups or salads every day. ....jan H & M Feld <ariel wrote: Geez..........get yourself checked. Lots of tests for Mercury, including hair , saliva and blood.
