The rash from a yeast will not clear up with just keeping the area clean and dry. The babies likely picked up the yeast from you during birth. Dr. William Crook is famous for his writing and advice on healing yeast. It is a hardy weed that can get rooted in both your body and that of your babies, but if you follow his advice, you can get the problem under control. The yeast you are seeing on the outside may be the tip of the problem. Yeast causes all kinds of health problems, and many people are healing themselves but it involves becoming more educated about the subject and making changes in your lifestyle and diet. Guest guest Posted November 29, 2003 Report Share Posted November 29, 2003 I wish i could help you..all i can tell you is when my baby had thrush I didn't use the antibiotic they gave me for her..I just kept giving her water in between her formula...and what really helped was I took a warm washcloth and wiped all inside her mouth,that took the bulk of it away and i just kept doing that until it was gone.It took about 2 or 3 days of doing that and it was gone. I dont know why the get it but to get rid of it that is what helped for me.
