The Lipitor Dilemma

You are so right JoAnn, I once was put onto lipitor but refused to take it

just a few months later after learning of how damaging it could be to me. I

think the best thing that I did for reducing my cholesterol was to stop all fats

other than organic extra virgin olive oil - it helped all of my health

problems and brought my cholesterol down to managable levels. I know that I

will

never again use the other fats that caused me problems, the ocassional organic

sesame oil and sometimes a little organic sunflower oil for flavouring but I get

through at least 1ltr of olive oil per month for the 2 of us. I even use it

to bake, a few cakes and my husbands bread because he is dairy intolerant and

I cannot recommend it highly enough. Of course the supplements also play a

very vital role but in conjunction with the dietary changes.
