Guest guest
I've heard that in some countries the doctor doesn't get paid until the patient is well. I think that's a sound policy. -- Health * Peace * Love * 4Ever @..@ (----) ( >__< ) Ribbit
Guest guest
That's the way it was in ancient times in the orient with traditional Chinese medicine. Guest guest
The ancient Chinese paid their drs to keep them well and if they became ill, they were treated free of charge as the dr had failed in his duty. Pity they don't practice this now in all countries, perhaps they would not be so quick to throw drugs at every single problem no matter what. I can remember going through a mild depression when my first child was born - they now recognise it as post baby blues but it was not way back then. For 3 years after that every time I visited my dr, he would prescribe valium no matter what the problem - stomach pain was not a symptom of depression and it was then that I came home and threw every pill down the toilet and decided to never take another - and I haven't in 30 years.
