My girlfriends little girl was bit in the face by a dog. After she was stitched up it became very infected. This little girl was a model and couldn't afford to have scars. She was hospitalized and the stitches removed, draining the wound, etc. She had a holistic doctor who instructed the mother to put Vit. A oil directly on it several times a day. The girl healed up beautifully with no noticeable scars. I hope that helps.
