Hi Friends,

I am writing this post to try to bring awareness to all of you to please be

careful when driving. On Monday, October 6, 2003, I hit by a car. This is

the second time in less than three years and both times I saw the person's car

and I did the right things, but the person driving didn't see me.

I really want this message to get out to as many people as possible, so you

have my permission to send it to anyone you feel would benefit from reading

this story.

Here is my story..  I was hit by car coming home Monday afternoon.  I Walking

down the sidewalk toward the main driveway of the complex almost home with

the dogs wearing a bright coral top and flowered shorts.  I saw the car stop at

the end of driveway and wait.  I wait to see if he was going to go.  He

didn't, but I stilled waited.  Then I decided to walk in front of him at the

same he

started to pull out but I was already in front of the car to pull back.  He

hit my knee and a bounced back landing on my left side and butt.

This happened two and half years ago the same kind thing.  He got of the car

and said he was sorry, and he didn't see me.  There has to be an easier lesson

in my life than to teach people how to drive.

I was rushed to the hospital and check out.  I am okay no broken bones, but I

swollen knee that has some fluid inside.  I am hurting very sore and shaken

up this has really affected me emotionally.  I am stuttering and am very fuzzy

and can't concentrate very well.  That is why I haven't written sooner.

The dogs are okay.  When I knew the car was going to hit me I dropped their

leashes in case of hurt worse.  Yet they are very affected emotionally. I have

PSTS.
