Guest guest
Decided to make some German style potatoe (Brit. Sp.) pancakes using nutritious ingredients. Sliced the potatoes, the onions and garlic, added some flax seed in lieu of flour, plus a little Real Salt, even less pepper; ran them mixed thru the Omega juicer, saved the juice and pulp. Mixed the egg, some Macadamia nut oil and some of the juice back into the pulp until a desirable batter consistency was achieved. Put Coconut and Palm oil in the pan and fried the pancakes at moderate heat. Thinking about applesauce which is often served with these pancakes- it occurred to me that maybe the Omega juicer would make applesauce without cooking it! Tried it. It works. Cut the apple, add a tiny bit of cinnamon, run it thru the juicer, mix the pulp and juice back together: Viola! Healthier Applesauce. (the Omega juicer is different than most) Best Regards, Lorenzo --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
