CA Medical Board Considering Protection for Alternaive Medicine

 

Hi Health Activists & Consumers,

 

 

The California Medical Board has been changed. The new board president seems to

support changes permitting the use of unconventional, non standard therapies

without losing their license for the deviation from accepted treatment.

 

The board's Committee on Non Conventional Medicine will recommend changing the

statutory legal authority of the board to allow a doctor to use alternative

therapies without jeopardizing their license.

 

Dr.Robert Rowen,MD who is active in advocating the new law has asked that we

contact the board and ask them to support legal protections for physciians' use

of non conventional medical treatments.
