Proper adminstration of carnosine...?

I've heard that amino acids, most amino acids, some amino acids, only

certain amino acids, should be taken alone, between meals. I've also heard

and read that they should be taken with food, and, I've read that it doesn't

matter. In other words, there's enormous confusion, inadequate or

non-existent research, and a lot of guesswork.

It occurs to me that no amino acid occurs " by itself " in nature, and is

always present in foods and in association with other amino acids. I take

Lysine for its claimed power to help with heart disease. I take it with

food, and don't worry about it being ineffective because it won't be

absorbed alone, because I take a huge amount of it, and assume that it will

simply, by virtue of its greater presence in the blood stream, be more

likely to be absorbed than other AAs competing for absorption, but which are

present in far smaller amounts.

i take it first thing in the morning by itself on an empty stomach. then

once before each meal on an empty stomach, when i can work it in.

but i would recommend you do research on the internet about proper

administration, instead of taking advice from a flake like me.
