Regards, Lorenzo > Allopathic Treatment Methods Using Natural Substances? Dear Group, It seems that some of you could benefit in a more complete understanding of natural methods vs. allopathic methods. The allopathic system is based on attacking one symptom with one treatment. (can be complex chemical etc)untl the symptom is suppressed. That does not usually correct the underlying problem and it usually gets worse over time. The natural method is to not treat symptoms but try and find the cause and correct it. You need to learn what is a symptom and what is a cause or disease. A lot of chronic conditions like headache, cholesterol, high blood pressure, insomnia, etc, etc, etc, are symptoms of something wrong in what your body needs. It isn't always easy but to do so is to correct it. Some times things are used temporarily to alleviate the pain and discomfort too but they are only temporary measures, not a solution. They believe that if your body receives all of the things it needs it can then regulate and heal itself. In a lot of cases, you do not have to figure out what you need. The body unusually doesn't need for you to figure out if it needs vitamins, minerals etc. You just give it liberal amounts of everything and it takes and uses whatever it needs. It does the treating, not you or a doctor. It is so complex and so intertwined in it's needs and uses that you could never catch up. It is doing thousands of biochemical process every second. Does that mean they only use vitamins? No, there are a number of things that help also. Herbs, acupuncture, etc. help balance the body and help it become normal again. In natural healing you do not treat cholesterol, headaches, weight, etc., you let the body balance itself by giving it what it needs, not by what you want. Good food, nutrients, sleep, etc. Postings here keep saying things like what can I take for my______? Meaning what natural substance can I use to replace my chemical, allopathic drugs that is used to suppress my symptoms. You do not understand the difference in methods. That is why this is a self education process, that or seek treatment from a natural practioner. There are many, many resources in this group and on the web to learn from. You are very lucky that the internet is available at a time when you are seeking this information as it was difficult to come by before. Learn, get healthy, help others here. regards, Frank JOIN OUR NEW MESSAGE BOARDS HERE. http://alternative-medicine-message-boards.info " Do not let either the medical authorities or the politicians mislead you.
