Update Contacting NY Senators-Supplemet bill

Hi Health Activists & Consumers,

Yesterday I contacted the offices of Schumer & Clinton. There was no positive

response or recognition of our effort on this issue. Last week an aide to

Clinton called me for more detailed information which I sent. Schumer has never

acknowledged our request for a meeting. Keep the calls going especially to

SCHUMER. If you live in Brooklyn, his political base make sure to tel his office

you are from Brooklyn, maybe it will help.

By way of Background, in 1994 when we were tryoing to recruit co-sponsors of the

Dietary Supplement Health Education Act that eventually passed and had over 218

co-sponsors--more than half the house of representatives, Schumer was one of the

few Congessman in the New York City delegation who did NOT co-sponsor the bill.

Ask them to meet with the Consumers Health Freedom Coalition on the Supplement

Safety Act that they both are co-sponsoring. You are very strongly opposed to

it.
