Essential Oil Recipes & More

Common Colds

Use the following oils in a hot bath. Lie back and inhale deeply;

Thyme 2 drops

Tea Tree 2 drops

Eucalyptus 1 drop

Lemon 3 drops

For the steam inhalation method, use one drop each of the following: thyme,

tea tree, lavender, and clove.

Carry with you a tissue on which you have placed one drop each of thyme,

peppermint, eucalyptus, and clove, and inhale deeply whenever possible.

Massage around the chest, neck, and sinus area (forehead, nose, and

cheekbones) with the following:

Lemon 1 drop

Eucalyptus 2 drops

Rosemary 3 drops

Dilute this mixture in 1 teaspoon Massage Oil.

Fainting

Untie any tight clothing and raise the legs higher than the head. Hold the

open bottle of essential oil under the patient's nose: use lavender,

rosemary, or peppermint.

When consciousness is regained, give the patient a drink made by adding one

drop of lemon essential oil to a teaspoon of honey and dissolving it in a cup

of hot water. This should be sipped slowly. Also, put 2 drops of any of

the essential oil listed above onto a tissue, which should be inhaled.

Fainting from Exhaustion or Fatigue: Treat as above, followed as soon as

possible by a warm bath to which you have added the following:

Chamomile 2 drops

Lavender 1 drop

Geranium 1 drop

Bed rest should follow immediately

Essential Oil Q & A

*****************

Q: "I am post-menopausal; I have recently developed a vaginal discharge

that I don't like - yellow in nature. I have been adding tea tree oil to a regular bottle of douche but this seems to help just for the day. Can you

recommend something that might possibly work for me? I don't want to take an antibiotic."

A: "A yellow discharge could be from various conditions, none of which I am

qualified to speak of, nor can I prescribe anything for them. I have a friend who has used Acidophilus capsules inserted once or twice a day which

took care of a yeast condition. You can read more about Acidophilus here:

I would suggest some research online. Maybe your intuition combined with

more ideas will open up an avenue of thought for you to figure out what it is. As noted on the first link below, there are 73 possible

conditions for vaginal discharge, so only you would be able to sort through which

ones may be an option.
