Guest guest
Possible Accidents with Essential Oils* If you spill a neat {aka undiluted} essential oil on your skin or develop an allergic reaction...... Splash plenty of cold water over the area for at least twenty minutes. If irritation persists, consult a health care professional. If poisoning is suspected telephone a general practitioner or go to the emergency room. *Babies and Children* The quantities used for children should always be only a quarter of the amount used for adults. Babies should not be exposed to oils that are possible irritants. *0-6 months: The only oils that should be used at this stage are Lavender and Roman Chamomile. Add one drop of essential oil to 10 ml 2 tsp of Sweet Almond or Jojoba oil for a massage or use in a room diffuser. *6-12 months: Use only Aniseed, Chamomile, Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Mandarin, Neroli and Rose. *1-6 years: Use only Aniseed, Chamomile, Roman Chamomile, Coriander, Lavender, Mandarin, Neroli, Orange, Palmarosa, Rose, Rosewood, and Tea Tree. *7-12 years: Use essential oils as they are intended, but avoid Basil. Quarter the dosage given for adults. **Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children. *Pregnancy* The only oil that should be avoided during pregnancy {until otherwise researched} is Sage. *Heart Problems* Peppermint should be avoided by those who suffer from cardiac fibrillation. ~ Essential Oils By Susan Curtis The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.~ Albert Einstein ~ http://health./ www.PalmarosaSoaps.com I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. It has removed 521 spam emails to date.Paying users do not have this message in their emails.Try SPAMfighter for free now! -- Version: 7.1.385 / Virus Database: 268.2.5/284 - Release 3/17/2006
