Guest guest
I don't know if its the same or not but as a teen I had cystic acne - the underground eruptions that looked like swollen mountains on your face - they were really sore & it you picked they got worse, but if left they'd eventually erupt & actually leave a crator that took forever to actually heal. I used tea tree oil on it to help heal faster. I also had the dermotologist drain these with her special torture tools.... As an adult I've had actual boils or clogged sweat glads that appearred very similar - they were on my backside & at first I thought it was a bug bite. Then the dr looked at it & cut away the cyst walls & put a wick in it to help it heal on the inside & not close on the outside (and close germies in it). I had the packing changed a couple of times. Altho not pleasant - you should have it looked at - just be glad it isn't on your butt & it isn't a new dr! I don't think I ever looked him in the eye after that one! Try tee tree oil if you have it, try hot compress - if its a boil this will help it to open & drain; Try not to pick at it, and if it is always getting bumped try to use some gause pads to cover just to protect it. sorry I can't be of more help - Mary
