Simple to make and attractive when displayed in a glass jar or in a basket, they're usable potpourri. Beauty Scrub: 1 cup grated soap (use an unscented beauty bar with added moisturizing cream) 1 cup regular (not instant) oatmeal. 1 cup dried lavender buds 1 cup dried mint leaves 1 cup dried sage leaves Oatmeal adds softening effects. Lavender, mint and sage offer fragrant healing and soothing qualities. This recipe makes 25 applications. Gently mix the ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a jar or a basket. To use, place 1/4 cup o the blend into a small cotton scrub bag. Tie tightly. Wet the bag well, then rub over your face or body with a gentle circular scrubbing action. Discard contents after use. Rinse the bag with warm water. Lay flat to dry and use again. Never bother about other people's opinions. Be humble and you will never be disturbed. Remember St. Aloysius, who said he would continue to play billiards even if he knew he was going to die. Do you play well? Sleep well? Eat well? These are duties. Nothing is small for God.” ~ Mother Theresa20th century humanitarian -- Version: 7.1.375 / Virus Database: 268.2.0/276 - Release 3/7/2006
