Greetings,

My mother use to spend a great deal of time outside in the sun. She ended up having something on her arm, that sounds a bit like that. It turned out to be a start to skin cancer. I would suggest getting it checked first. I am in no way saying that is what it is, but it is a possibility depending on the amount of time you have spent in the sun.

Blessings

Ani

Hi & a question about possible boil or something...

Hi. I joined the list recently and I can't recall at the moment if I introduced myself, so "hi" if I didn't!I wanted to ask if anyone knew of an herbal or essential oil mixture for a skin problem I've had for a bit now. I remember it started out as what I thought was some kind of skin eruption. It was a hard spot on the skin on my shoulder. I knew there was something wrong there, but it seemed like a blemish, so I left it alone. Then I noticed it was a bit tender and bothersome, so I tried to get whatever was in there out (I thought it might be like a splinter or some other foriegn object like that).I had no luck and it just got sore. So I gave up and just left it to work its own way out. Unfortunately, it never actually did. It became, instead, a hard bubble almost. It's skin color basically and it is sort of hard and rough. It doesn't seem to be a mole or anything like that. I would probably keep leaving it alone to work through whatever issues it's having, but it's causing me a lot of problems. I keep catching shoulder straps and things like that on it and if I happen to accidentally hit it or whatever with a finger ro something, it is very painful.I've actually tried wart remover pads because I was desperate and had no idea what to try, but they aren't even working. So, I'm hoping someone will have an idea. Thanks for your time.K~`~`~I love deadlines. Hi,And Hi to everyone on the list. I joined recently and have been a lurker too and haven't quite got up the nerve to introduce myself yet, but I would like to put in my two cents worth here.Have you tried a Potato poultice?? You just peel a small potato (if it is not guaranteed organic) , chop up small and boil in a little water until soft. Drain and mash. While it is still warm (really as hot as you can stand without burning yourself) place on the boil and cover to keep warm. Change every twenty minutes or so until it bursts. It will clean out completely if it is a boil or has a foreign object inside. After that clean with diluted Echinacea. It will heal from the inside out if Echinacea is used daily until the wound closes. If it is a skin cancer, this treatment won't do it any harm at all and if it does not work you can see a doctor to get it checked out anyway. I am not discounting the possibility that it could be a skin

cancer, however I have had a number of skin cancers that I have removed with Milk Weed but they did not cause me any pain whatsoever, and definitely were not tender. I have had amazing success with humans and animals with the potato poultice (and of course Echinacea which I use for just about everything internal & external, cuts, bruises, burns, as a cold preventative, bee stings, spider bites and ant bites, infections internal & external and just about everything else.) Actually Kerry Bone from MediHerb has a great list for all the uses for Echinacea. Here is the link:http://www.thorne.com/pdf/journal/2-6/echinacea.pdfI hope the potato poultice works - let me know.LaurenK F <wordgoddess wrote: Hi.
