Egg Whites and Sugar as a Natural Hairspray

Hey, Chet,

Punk rockers have known for a long time that egg whites

and sugar applied to hair create a super effect. How do

you think they build those tremendous mohawks? When I

worked in theatre, we used a mixture of one tablespoon of

sugar per egg white to create height rather than wasting

cans of hairspray.

Applied lightly, it works great to achieve a beautiful

spiky, shiny effect for short hair.

Just be sure to rinse off in COOL water first, as you will

have an omelette on your head if you rinse with hot water.
