Traditional Cold Cream

This is an all-purpose cream that can be used to

cleanse and soothe the skin.

Makes 7 oz.

52 oz white beeswax

1/2 cup almond oil

1/2 teaspoon borax

1/4 cup rosewater

1. Place the beeswax in a double boiler and add the

almond oil. Melt the wax over low heat, stirring

constantly to combine the ingredients.

2. Take off the heat and dissolve the borax in the

rosewater and slowly pour it into the melted wax

and oil, whisking constantly.

3. It will quickly turn milky and thicken, continue

whisking while it cools. When it reaches thick pouring consistency, pour into glass jars or china pots.
