Lavender Milk Bath ½ C powdered milk 1/4 C Epsom salts 2 T Lavender flowers, powdered in the blender 3 drops Lavender essential oil, opt'l Combine all and store in an airtight container. Makes enough for one bath. To use: add to bathwater as it is running. Vanilla Milk Bath ½ C powdered milk 1/4 C Epsom salts 2 t vanilla extract 2 t olive oil Combine all and store in an airtight container. Makes enough for one bath. To use: add to bathwater as it is running. HOT COCOA MIXS Basic Ingredients 10 1/2 C. Non-Fat Dry Milk 4 C. Confectioner's Sugar 4 1/4 C. Chocolate Mix for Milk (Nestle's Quick) 2 3/4 C. Non-Dairy Powdered Creamer 1/2 tsp Salt Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container. This recipe will yield approximately 8 pint size gift jars. Attach the following directions in a card: Combine 3 heaping tablespoons of cocoa mix into hot water or milk AMARETTO COCOA MIX Ingredients 10 1/2 C. Non-Fat Dry Milk 4 C. Confectioner's Sugar 2 8 oz. Jars of Amaretto Flavored Non-Dairy Powdered Creamer 3 1/2 C. Chocolate Mix for Milk (Nestle's Quick) 2 3/4 C. Non-Dairy Powdered Creamer 1/2 tsp Salt Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container. This recipe will yield approximately 8 pint size gift jars. Attach the following directions in a card: Combine 3 heaping tablespoons of cocoa mix into hot water or milk FRENCH VANILLA COCOA MIX Ingredients 10 1/2 C. Non-Fat Dry Milk 4 C. Confectioner's Sugar 2 8 oz. Jars of French Vanilla Flavored Non-Dairy Powdered Creamer 3 1/2 C. Chocolate Mix for Milk (Nestle's Quick) 2 3/4 C. Non-Dairy Powdred Creamer 1/2 tsp Salt Combine all ingredients and store in an air-tight container. This recipe will yield approximately 8 pint size gift jars. Attach the following directions in a card: Combine 3 heaping tablespoons of cocoa mix into hot water or milk NOTE: To make an extra special gift add a pretty mug, a stirring spoon and perhaps a small book to read and put into a basket or unusual box. Pretty Jars with tight fitting lids or even metal tin boxes could be used. For Tin Boxes you might consider measuring out the ingredients into individual plasic bags with a twist tie or rubber band and have a note saying... Just add water and enjoy. But what I can say is recently I have run out milk at dinner time and have used powdered milk in recipes that require milk such as pudding, packaged potatoes and tuna helper and you could NOT tell I used it from regular milk!!!
