Aromatherapy Recipes

Inula, a little known essential oil is

wonderful for clearing up infected sinuses.

Dilute in Jojoba and massage either side of the nose.

1 drop in 5ml Jojoba or Sweet Almond Oil.

Lavender can also be used.

Try Sandalwood when your day is hetic and just

doesn't seem to slow down.Very calming, relaxing

and balancing.

The perfect oil to use during meditation.

Ylang Ylang, known as the "Queen of Perfumes"

makes a beautiful natural perfume. A natural antidepressant, helpful for anxiety. Blend with a small amount of Jojoba Oil to create a lingering scent.

Relaxing in a warm scented bath induces

alpha brain waves, which enhance concentration

and are more likely to trigger intuition

than the rapid beta waves we experience throughout

our normal day.

Researchers agree that intuitive thoughts come

suddenly and ususally when we're relaxing.

With the hot summer months ahead a great recipe

to try is a Peppermint and Tea Tree foot lotion.

Cooling Peppermint and the antibacterial,antifungal

properties of Tea Tree make this a great summer treat.

take 8oz. of any unscented lotion, add 20 drops Peppermint,

20 drops Tea Tree and 20 drops of Rosemary essential Oil.

Blend in a measuring cup and pour into a bottle.

Use as needed to revive tired feet.

This blend will be energizing so you may not want to

use it to close to bedtime.

Stomach AcheBlend 5 drops of Lavender and 5 drops Peppermintwi=

th 1oz. of carrier oil, Sweet Almond is good butany will do. Massage on tumm=

y area with gentle clockwise strokes. Not for young children.

Another wonderful way to help withinsomnia is Rose Oil. Will help with anxietyand nervous tension also. A few drops addedto a warm bath is a great stress reliever
