It is especially useful tofight exhaustion and drpression that stem from nervous disorders. It is also generally agreed that 6 months regular use is needed to seethese results, but many herbablists don't recommend taking it formore than a month. Avoid ginseng if you have inflammatoryconditions, bronchitis, high blood pressure, or if you take stimulants. " Lavender, " Calming lavender tea is particularly attuned to the brainto releive stress, headaches, anxiety, depression.....it stedies yournerves and invigorates you. " Lemon Balm is an antidepressant and tonic for your nervous system. Milk Thistle, " If you suffer from depression...one organic cause isliver deficiency. Melancholy is often a condition of the liver thatcan be improved with milk thistle tea.Rose Hips is another popular antidepressant, and they recmmend oat straw to calm down.St. Johns Wort is GREAT for nerves and is a basic cure all fornervous disorders, and is a fine antidepressant.Vervain is also recommended for nerves and to help you sleep. But for a deep sleep velarian root will knock you out immedeatly, but uselightly. Velarian can cause hallucinations in 5% of it's users, AVOIDVervain if you have bronchial conditions or asthma. Use bothmoderatly. pepperment iced tea is invigorating!That's teas, now here's aromatherapy.. " Bergamot oil is soothign to frazzled nerves and stressed bodies..donot apply to skin. " Also listed, Basil, Lemon Balm, Clary sage, Jasmine, and ylang-ylang. Lavender and chamomile also produce calming effects.
