I have a gift in a can idea that I remember from Dear Abby from when I was about 10, I made them for everyone I knew and I am now 38. It is an emergency snow storm coffee Can for a car (I grew up in Chicago). In the can you put Matches, a candle, a long string, a large can of tuna, a tool like a 5 in one that will also open cans and has a spoon, a few perishable's. I put chicken noodle soup, hot chocolate, And a few packs of instant oatmeal. You are to use the tool to make 2 holes in the can one on each side at the top, To hang it on the rear view mirror, you cut the string long enough to hang the coffee can you eat the tuna and when you need something warm you get snow from outside melt it with the candle (It is burning in the tuna can), in the coffee can use it to heat your water till you get help. ohhh yeah, there was a bright colored rag to tie on the antenna and that was a great idea when the blizzard of 79 hit. Just a child hood memory I had and wanted to share. Blessings Brenda
