Guest guest
Skin-Softening Milk BathEverybody likes soft skin, except maybe for Godzillaand some of his amphibian kin, so I thought todayI'd share with you a little home-made recipe for a milk bath concoction that sounded pretty cool.I found this recipe in an old health magazine wehad laying around here at CasaDay.Casey Kellar, author of Natural Beauty and BathBook (Lark Books, 1997), says the milk in this recipe moisturizes rough skin.1 cup full-fat powdered milk2 tablespoons almond meal2 tablespoons barley or oat flourA few drops of rose (Rosa centifolia) essential oilMix all the ingredients in a bowl, then add two tablespoons to a tub of water. Soak for 15 minutes.Store the remaining bath mix in a glass jar at roomtemperature. It should keep for two months.-- Diana Gonzalez Nothing wastes more energy than worrying - the longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets.
