Guest guest
Citrus Herb Wreath This wreath can be made for any time of the year ! The citrus fruits...oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit become almost transparent when dried....rather like mottled stained glass. Nature's Materials Green Spanish Moss, sheet moss, approximately 12 branches of lemon leaves, 9 dried orange slices 1/4 inch thick, 9 dried lime slices 1/4 inch thick, 9 dried miniature pomegranates, approximately 2 inches in diameter, 12 dried apple slices, 12 dried rosebuds, 12 dries sprigs of thyme blossoms. Supplies and tools 12 inch diameter wire boxed wreath form, floral wire, floral tape, wire cutters, pruning shears or scissors, low temp. glue gun and glue stick. Directions; Fill in the concave surface of the wreath form with Spanish moss. Wrap with wire to secure. Soak the sheet moss in water to make it flexible. Wrap the wet moss around the entire form and secure it with wire. Let dry thoroughly. From the branches of lemon leaves, cut sprigs with about three to four leaves per sprig...wrap three to four sprigs together with floral tape. Attach the bunches of leaves to the wreath form with the glue gun. Alternate bunches of leaves with clusters of fruit. Arrange the dried citrus slices into 3 circular clusters of 6 overlapping slices. Add three clusters of three pomegranates. With the glue gun, fill in around the citrus and pomegranate clusters with apple slices, bits of Spanish Moss , rosebuds and thyme leaves. Fill in any empty spaces with lemon leaves. -- Diana Gonzalez Nothing wastes more energy than worrying - the longer a problem is carried, the heavier it gets.
