Need an Energy Boost?

 

Changes in weather, stress, sleeping patterns and even the amount of

daylight you're exposed to can all affect energy levels. Regular

exercise is one of

the best ways I know to stay energized throughout the day. A brisk walk in

the morning or a short stroll in the afternoon can offset the " lows " that are

part of the daily energy cycle. Exercise can also improve both the quality

and quantity of sleep, which can do wonders for maintaining activity during the

day. While maintaining optimum health - through exercise, diet and sleep -

is undoubtedly the best way to boost energy, those with chronic energy

problems may also want to try the following supplements:

* Ashwaganda, an Ayurvedic herb prized for its ability to help the

body deal with stress.

* Eleuthero (also known as Siberian Ginseng), which contains active

ingredients that often enhance mental activity and physical endurance.

* Cordyceps, a traditional Chinese medicinal mushroom that may help

fight fatigue and boost energy levels.
