If you're like most Americans, you'd not even aware of how much money you're putting into junk snacks every week of your life. Wanna try an interesting experiment? Keep a written log for one week and write down every penny you spend on non-meal foods. If you want to snack, and most people do these days, try a healthy alternative: Snack on organic raisins. Snack on dates with an almond stuffed inside. Snack on other dried fruits. If you're watching your weight, include in your bag of healthy snacks some celery and carrot sticks and intermix bites of dried fruit with bites of veggie sticks.
