30 drops scent blend. Bottle.

Shaving Soap (for mug)

1/2 cup grated soap (Castile is recommended)

2/3 cup distilled water, boiling

2 tb. melted coconut oil

3 tb. almond oil

1 tb. borax

approx. 20 drops scent blend (see below)

Dissolve soap in the water, and put in blender. Add remaining ingredients

and whip until fluffy. Add scent and pour into mug (I used a large coffee

mug) and let harden.

Sandalwood sachet

2 oz. sandalwood chips

1 1/2 oz. cut orris root

1/4 gum benzoin

1/4 oz. whole cloves

1/8 oz. mace powder

approx. 30-40 drops scent blend (see below)

Mix well and sift. Tie up in small fabric bags.

Talc

To 11 oz. unscented talcum powder add approx. 1 tsp scent blend, and mix

well. Seal in a zip lock bag or container and let stand for 1 week to

allow

the scents to blend. Sift 3 times and package.

Cologne

8 oz. strong vodka

1 tb. glycerine

approx. 40 drops scent blend

Mix well, steep 3 weeks and bottle.

Scent Blend

20 drops sandalwood essential oil

5 drops frankincense essential oil

5 drops patchouli essential oil

3 drops clove essential oil

3 drops lavender or rosemary essential oil

Mix. This is your stock bottle. Use this to scent the other toiletries.

I used a burgundy color scheme, and bought a cheap coffee mug for the soap

in that color. I then found matching fabric, and used it to make the

sachet

bags, tied with a contrasting ribbon, and also to cover the talc container

(I used a cylindrical cardboard powder container with a shaker top). The

cologne and balm were packaged in glass bottles tied with ribbon and

labeled.
