Hi Mari :)

Peppermint is my vote :) It's soooo soothing for hot and tired feet :) And

you only need a LITTLE bit ;) You can even hide the smell of Tea Tree with

it ;)

Mari, I make a foot care combination which includes a foot soak, a foot scrub bar, and a foot lotion bar all scented with Peppermint which is very soothing and cooling to the feet at any time of day. Deonia

THANK YOU! Anne!

That's one thing I always get in trouble for on other lists. I've been told that the only recipe's that I approve of are one's I've written myself! Not true.

However, If I were to adapt it to levels that are acceptable to ME (to ME! ;-)

1 drop Ginger

2 drops Lemon

2 drops Grapefruit.

1tsp (5ml carrier oil)

Personally, I don't like to use Citrus in a foot bath or tub, as to me it feels' like ant's biting.

Yes Ann, according to the accepted rate of EO's per oz of carrier oil which is, i think, no more than 30 drops of any EO per ounce of a carrier oil. deonia

Hi Kathleen

I don't like Citrus oils in baths either. I remember once putting just one or two drops in the bath and, yes, it was just like ants biting! I was out of there pretty quick and under the shower to wash it off.

Here in UK, most registered aromatherapists use 2 - 3% EO to base/carrier but the longer I work the less I use. It so much depends on the quality of the oils too. Sometimes I use only 1%. Apart from safetey issues it's really rather a waste of a precious commodity!

Thanks for that Deonia

I find ounces really difficult with liquids. We work in mls here in UK. How much is an ounce of carrier oil? I tend to talk in percentages then don't have to worry about ounces or mls! :)

Ann, {{{{{{{{{{{ grinning }}}}}}}}}}} I think it's between 14 & 15 ml. But we American were too stubborn to accept anything new and rejected the Imperial system when it was introduced to us.Other measures except what we learned as children in school are totally foriegn to us and I, i hate to admit, am just as bad because it says i'm too lazy to learn that system. And i'm no better at percentages! LOL I know Chris will be able to tell you, at least I have her to rely on. Someone just sent me a conversion chart that she thought made the conversions of everything so easy. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it !!!!!!! Deonia
