Night Owl..I never understood morning folks.. after all.. aren't we always told to "stay away from the bright light?" lolDo you have any pets?

OK.. just remember.. YOU ASKED...

Dogs

....Hanibal the Cannibal, 12 year old male rescued dalmatian who is my cuddle boy.. When at home, where I am .. he is....

....Buckeye (aka Buddy).. 8 yr old male rescued dalmatian with three legs and chronic motion sickness (lol...not joking.. when he bounces around the house.. the motion causes his tummy to get upset and he gets queasy). Buckeye is a certified therapy dog.

.... JayJay, 6 yr old male dalmatian. He is one of my fosters for my dog rescue group I volunteer with and is currently colored a very vivid green (Note to self: Remember to not let white dals out to play on a freshly mown lawn)

.... Ruke, 11 month old tri-colored (black, liver and orange spots) male dalmatian. Ruke is another foster dog of mine for the rescue group. he is a small dal and is all full of puppy love. He is deaf and currently working on learning hand signals and how not to be an idiot and jump into my 75 gallon aquarium again.

....Ferbee, 2 yr old male bassett/shephard mix (I KNOW he looks funny as hell.. but fortunately he doesn;t care). Ferbee is another foster dog for my rescue group and I think because he is so short (foot and a half high and three feet long) Ferbee is currently working on learning that we don;t have to jump 3 feet in the air constantly to get mom's attention.

Ponies...

I volunteer heavily at a therapuetic riding stable that works with handicapped kids, I am also in charge of the care of two ponies there and am currently training them both for the program.

....Tootsie Pop. Very small, 6 yr old dark bay shetland mare with tons of energy and the biggest attitude you ever seen. She's quite the handful and in addition to manners, we are currently working on learning to drive a cart. She is my joy and also my way to keep my ego in check. She seems to have a knack of humbling me badly just when I think I have her figured out.. lolol

....Mikey. 11yr old male Welsh pony. Gorgeous boy, deep copper coat with a silky blonde mane and tail. He came into our program about two months ago and is blind in one eye. Am currently working on Mikey's blind side so he is not so skittish. He loves to prance and is learning to cart drive as well.

Aquariums

.... 75 gallon freshwater, heavily planted... (in process) ..community tank

.... 50 gallon freshwater, houses large goldfish

.... 10 gallon freshwater, houses dojo loaches and birchirs

.... 5 gallon brackish, houses bumblebee gobies

....5 gallon freshwater, houses a few cories and one baby birchr that I found at a pet store and had all her fins bit off, she can;t swim.. can just wiggle around the tank till they grow back.. lol .. yeah i know.. i am a magnet for hurt, handicapped or disabled animals.. even fish.. lol.. would be amazed at what you see in the stores if you look closely.. lol.. both the cories in the tank with her are missing eyes.

.... 4 one gallon freshwater tanks.. one with ghost shrimp, one with dwarf frogs (Leah and Leopold), two with a single betta in each.

.... 20-25 (it varies) goldfish bowls each with a betta

Crabs

.... 11 assorted hermit crabs in a 60 gallon bowfront aquarium, Ecuadorians, Purple Pincers and Rugs

Snail

.... Sydney is my Giant African Land Snail and anyone who tells you that snails have no personality lied. lol.. I raised her from the size of a pea and she is now the size of a large orange. She loves to get baths and will respond to my voice and readily enjoys being petted.

Cat

... Kit, 10 yr old male black and white "slyvester" kitty. Kit is a hold over from when the kids lived at home.. they moved out and forgot THEIR cat. I routinely remind them he is still here <sighs> can you tell I am not a cat person.

I think that is it.. unless you want to count the 3 baby raccoons I am currently nursing. I was a wildlife rehabber (retired now) for 16 yrs and am just nursing these guys until I can find a rehabber to take them in.

<gryns> told you i was wordy

Congrats on your lessons Pat. I really enjoyed mine. Humbled me immensely. Even when I did get to trot before anyone else!
