Guest guest Posted April 3, 2005 Report Share Posted April 3, 2005 Blue Jean "Pocket" Book Craft 1 pair of old jeans with back pocketsand good zipper.Iron on patch (optional). Instructions for craft: Cut out back pocket, leaving about 1" around pocket.Remove zipper from front fly. Cut inseam along legskeeping the seam as a strip.With fronts together, sew zipper centered at top ofpockets. Press seam open and stitch down on each sideof zipper. Open zipper half way.With fronts together, insert end of inseam strip intofront on each side below zipper. Stitch around pocketusing about 1/2" seam and stitching double over handleend. Stitch again 1/8" from first seam to secure denim.Clip corners if needed and turn pocket to front throughzipper opening.Iron on patch if desired. Tie knot in inseam strip forpurse strap.
