Look Good-Feel Good Baths

For relaxation, nothing beats a nice, warm, bath. As many

women know, using too much bubble bath additives can cause

urinary tract infections. Here are two relaxing bath recipes

that not only will give you a fragrant bath, but do wonders

for your skin...

Here's what you need...

6-8 large, fresh strawberries

2 cups milk

1 tablespoon almonds

1 tablespoon wheat germ

Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor

until smooth. Pour into warm bathwater. The amazing thing about

strawberries is that in ancient times, they were used to cool

fevers, heal sore throats and even whiten teeth, (which still

works). Even today, strawberries can heal sunburn and sensitive

skin and soften skin. Wheat germ is high in vitamins A and E,

almonds and milk are rich in natural emollients that nourish

the skin and naturally exfoliate...

Another great bath addition is Green tea.

Prepare a large pot of green tea infusion by combining 4 cups

boiling water and 4 to 5 tablespoons loose green tea leaves.

Steep for 10 minutes. Strain and add to bathwater when solution

has cooled slightly. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil

and you'll be relaxing in no time...

Green tea is an effective antioxidant and diuretic with slimming,

anticellulite and anticholesterol properties. It contains polyphenols,

which strengthen the immune system and prevent free radicals and

cancer cells from multiplying. Tea leaves also tighten pores and

soothe insect bites...Drinking it daily has been proven to keep

you " feeling good " and soaking in it will keep you " looking good. "
