Guest guest
Here is what I have for basic recipes. You can easly tweek them to your liking. Lip Balm 7-8 tsp sweet almond oil 2 tsp beeswax 1 vit E capsule 5 drops of any flavoring oil Heat oil and beeswax until melted. Remove from heat and add all the other ingredients. Make sure you pierce the capsule and put the oil in not the hole capsule. Mix well and heat again if it gets to thick. Pour into a lip balm container. If you want a harder one just add more beeswax. Basic Body Powder 4oz cornstarch 5 drops of your favorit EO Add the EO to the cornstarch. Mix well and sift if you want. You can break up the EO's beads this way. YOu can also add backing soda to this. You can also use 1/2 arrowroot powder and cornstarch. I have seen some recipes with clay in them also. Like I said before you can tweek it to your liking. This will last up to a year if kept right Solid Perfume 4 tsp sweet almond oil 2 tsp bees wax 1/2 tsp of FO or EO Melt the oil and wax together. Add your scent and color if you like. Pour into containers. I do this and put them in a lip balm tube just like they used to have in the Avon books. Not sure if they still do. It is almost like the lip balm recipe but as you can see not as much oil and you do not want to put any kind of FO or EO on your lips. They have special color you can get for this but I would just food coloring. I am looking threw one of my books for easy beauty recipes and I found colognes. Not sure if you want to make this or not and it could be liquid perfume I think. Peachy Colonge 1/2 peach, sliced 1/3 cup vodka or rubbing alcohol 2 drops of EO cinnamon oil 1/4 tsp sweet almond oil Combine peach slice and the vodka or rubbing alcohol in a small jar with an airtight lid. Allow to sit for 24 hours. Strain mixture to remove the peach slices. Mix in the EO and oil. Transfure to a small dark bottle. Shake well before using. Rub small amounts on your pulse points. Will keep up to 6 months. Here is another one Herbal Delight 1 tsp dried sage 2 tsp if using fresh 1 tsp chamomile 1/3 cup vodka or rubbing alcohol 1/4 tsp sweet almond oil Combine the first three ingredients in a glass jar with a lid. Leave in a cool, dark place. Let it sit for 8-10 days or up to two weeks. The longer you let it sit the stronger it will be. Strain and add the oil. Transfure to a dark bottle. Shake well and rub or spray on your pulse points. Will keep up to 6 months Like all the other recipes you can tweek these to your liking. It looks like the basic ingrediet for these is the vodka or rubbing alcohol. There are a few more of them in here. If you like I can post them too.
