Type: The Nux vomica (Poison Nut) may become over dependent on alcohol or stimulants, which may be craved. Appearance: Slim, particularly when young; smart appearance; may look stressed and tense; ages prematurely; prone to dark circles under the eyes; face becomes flushed through anger or excitement. Mental and emotional aspects: Can suffer from addictions and over-indulgence; may have cravings for alcohol, food, and stimulants such as coffee and cigarettes; can be addicted to sex; finds it difficult to relax; can be very ambitious, impatient, intolerant and critical and requires perfection in others. The worst thing that can happen to a Nux vomica type is failure. Physical weaknesses: Digestive disorders form hangovers and overindulgence; migraines and headaches, hernia, and hay fever; feels better for sleep. Dietary factors: Likes fatty and rich food, cheese and cream, alcohol, coffee and spicy foods; dislikes the effect of some strong spicy foods (despite enjoying eating them). The Natrum muriaticum Child: Irritable and easily bored; may be prone to hyperactivity and ADHD(attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder); may throw tantrums; competitive as a teenager; can become addicted to alcohol and drugs, as likes to be rebellious.
