Guest guest
The Thick toenails are more then likely caused from a fungus (its actually pretty common). This isnt totally all natural but it does work. I have to do this myself. And it works better then anything else Ive ever tried even from the doctor....... Vicks Vapo Rub...cover your toenails being sure to get a thick coat under the nail. Put white socks on and go to bed. After about two weeks you will notice a differance. It takes about six weeks all together (I went threw a large jar). I kept my toenails clipped as short as I could stand during this process. I redo this about every month and half for several nights. You could probably make your own salve from eucalyptus and other things. Im always going to try it but havent taken the time. Kathy
Guest guest
Ditto, what she said. Usually caused form a fungus, and a double problem if you are diabetic. If possible, see a podiatrist to have nails safely cut down and sanded to a safe thickness if possible. I have heard that soaking the toes in Listerine will kill the fungus ( may take daily soaking for several weeks), and then wiping them down with Listerine daily will keep it from coming back, but have not seen this first hand. Good luck with this, Bobbie - mistynights234 Monday, January 10, 2005 10:24 PM Re: Thick Tonails The Thick toenails are more then likely caused from a fungus (its actually pretty common).
