Guest guest
hello everyone, I guess this is a question for women only. I'll be starting the copper IUD soon, and its said to bring on really terrible crampings and such. I don't like taking advil or any pills, so I am looking for a natural option to help me deal with the pain. I have been on the patch, which has definetely helped lessen the pains and cramping, but I can't stand the hormones. Previously i had terrible pains, I would spend a day or two in bed, even if I took advil. I am living in Egypt, so there are many herbal stores where I can purchase many types of herbs, but not usually those native to North America. Can anyone recommend a herbal mixture, that I can take throughout the month or at certain times that can help me deal with severe crampings and such. thanks very much The all-new My – What will yours do? Guest guest
Why are you using an IUD? aren't they dangerous? i've known women to get serious infections and become sterile! Guest guest
Personally I've found Red Clover, and Greasewood (Chaparral) Bochu, to be very helpful. Hope this helps you. =) Take care, Hallie relrella <rsaslan wrote: hello everyone, I guess this is a question for women only. Guest guest
I have a Copper IUD and I have had it for 2 years now. The only time you can get really bad cramps is when they go to put it in. I didn't take anything before they did and mine where not that bad just like I was having my period. Sorry I don't know of anything that can stop the cramps that is natural. Just try to relax when they put it in. IUD is not dangerous at all. They have come such a long way. I had to change to a non hormonal birth control because of health issues. The only possible side affect you can get is scare tissue from where it was sitting inside. They do not recommend young women to have it just incase there is scare tissue. The scare tissue is what makes you not able to have kids not the IUD. IUD's are also NOT the only way you can get scar tissue either. If you see a doctor that specializes in all types of birth control you shouldn’t have any problems.
