Guest guest
Body Polish 1 cup aloe vera gel ¼ cup apricot kernel meal ¼ cup castile soap ¼ cup dead sea salt ¼ cup Epsom salt 1/8 cup MSM crystals ¼ cup sweet almond oil 1/8 cup comfrey root powder 1/8 cup horsetail power 1/8 cup kelp powder (optional for cellulite) Mix all ingredients thoroughly. If mixture becomes too thick add a little more aloe gel or oil. Mixture should be thin enough to spread easily over skin without pulling. To use, wet skin thoroughly. Decant into a strong plastic, water-tight container and cover. Store in a cool dark place for a minimum of seven days before use. This allows the constituents of the root and herb powders to marry thoroughly into the solution. Stir thoroughly before using. Apply starting at the feet and working upwards. Apply gently on thinner and delicate skin over breasts. Best if applied completely and mixture allowed to soak into skin for 5-10. I recommended first wetting the skin under shower, applying the polish and then leaning back in an empty tub (on a small towel) allowing the minerals and herbs to absorb into the skin. Then fill tub with warm water and soak and continue with bathing. Do not wash hair in bathwater. Stand under shower to rinse and shampoo hair. On normal or oily skin, you can use this all over once a week, and daily on rough-skin or cellulite prone buttocks and thighs. On delicate skin, omit the apricot kernel meal and apply only on roughened skin at knees, heels and elbows or very gently on cellulite prone areas. Mixture should be patted gently onto delicate chest and breast area. Aloe vera contains allatoin, known for improving skin texture and appearance. Apricot kernel meal exfoliates dead skin layers. Castile soap provides gentle cleansing. Dead sea salts contain minerals for skin strenth and elasticity. Epsom salts provides the skin with magnesium for healthy hydration. MSM feeds the skin with sulfer for strong connective tissues. Almond oil helps retain moisture in the skin. Comfrey root is known for its healing abilities. Horsetail adds silica for skin reslience. Kelp helps diminish the appearance of cellulite by aiding to drain superfluous insterstitial fluids. http://www.botanicalbeautylab.com/skincarebath.html
