Recipes & Uses

Sleep Soundly Spritzer

4 oz water

5-6 drops neroli essential oil (blended in a pure base oil)

6 drops lavender essential oil

Pour water into a small spritzer bottle, add the essential oils,

cover and shake vigorously. Spray on linens before crawling into bed

for a completely relaxing scent that will take you away to the land

of nod.

Headache Soother

Tension headaches often melt away when treated with neroli essential

oil, due to its antispasmodic qualities. If you feel a headache

creeping into your day, simply place 2 drops of neroli oil in the

palm of your hand, rub together briskly, then inhale deeply. Take a

moment to relax, and let your tensions seep away. Your body is

telling you that you have reached your limit.

Be Kind to Yourself, You're Having a Rough Day Therapy

For a quick pick-me-up when you're feeling down, spritz a mister in

the home, car, or office, or, if time is available, luxuriate with 4-

5 drops added to a tub full of warm water. Better yet, add 10 drops

to a teaspoon of massage oil, and follow your bath with a neroli

massage given by someone loving in your life. Neroli oil is also

great for dry skin, so the bath and massage will also leave you

feeling silky smooth. Revel in it.

Post-natal or PMS Blues Bath

Mix 8 drops of neroli oil in 3 Tbsp of honey and pour under the

running water of a warm tub. Crawl in, let your hormones settle a

bit, and embrace your goddess within. Let yourself relax into the

sweet aroma of the orange blossoms and know that it's OK to feel down.

Stretch Mark Salve

Neroli oil can also aid in the regeneration of skin cells. Make up

this salve and apply it daily to stretch marks already formed, or in

the process of being formed.

Slowly melt one ounce of grated beeswax and 4 ounces of olive oil

together in the top of a double boiler. Add 10 drops of neroli

essential oil and mix. Pour into a sterilized container and let set.

Ready for use as soon as cooled and set.
