Guest guest
Fall Tomatoes in the Garden How would you like to keep from buying tomatoes until Christmas? No problem! Quick! Before the first fall frost here's what you need to do. Hang a clothes line, rope, or 2X4 in your garage, shed or basement. (Be creative – you just need a place where a hard frost can't reach. Pull your tomato plants right out of the ground, tomatoes and all. It helps if it has rained recently. Hang the tomato plants upside down. The green tomatoes will slowly ripen – right up until Christmas and beyond if you can keep them from freezing!
