Guest guest
Currently I am using Arm and Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer, but I was wondering if anyone had a natural alternative...I don't really like the smell of that stuff. I know I could just use plain baking soda, but I was wondering if there are any essential oils or any other ingredients I could use to make my own that would help to neutralize the odor, but are safe to use around cat's little behinds? Does anyone have any ideas? I love this group! PinkWytchPinkWytch

Guest guest
Perhaps you could try this version of a natural carpet fresh.... 1 Cup baking soda with 40 drops of essential oils.Choose from Lemon,Grapefruit,Bergamot,Tea Tree, Litsea Cubea,Cedarwood and Patchouli. Mix together and sprinkle over carpetlet sit 30 minutes or overnight , then vacuum. The essential oils will deodorize and help repel fleas. Plus, Tea Tree and Eucalyptus are anti bacterial and fight germs. Just a couple of ideas and scents for you to try!
